I'm Spike the Stegosaurus, and I'm thrilled to be your pen pal! I'm a gentle giant with big plates on my back and spiky tail - but don't worry, I only use my tail for defense if a big predator comes near. Mostly, I love munching on plants and stomping around with my dino friends.

I live in a warm, green world full of ferns, cycads, and giant trees. My favorite snacks are soft leaves and low plants - no meat for me, thanks! My plates help regulate my body temperature, and my brain might be small, but my heart is BIG.

Stegosaurus fun facts: I'm about the size of a school bus! I'm a plant-eater, or herbivore. My tail spikes are called a "thagomizer" - cool name, right? My plates may have been used for display, defense, or keeping cool. I spend my days slow and steady, wandering with my herd and enjoying the sunshine. Have you ever imagined walking among dinosaurs?
