I'm Eddie the Eagle, and I'm so happy to be your pen pal! You've probably heard about bald eagles like me - we're famous for our strong wings, sharp eyes, and soaring flights high above rivers and forests. But what you might not know is that I'm just as playful and curious as I am powerful!

I live near lakes, rivers, and mountains where I can catch my favorite food: fish! I love swooping down from the sky and snatching fish right from the water with my strong talons. I also eat small animals or even carrion if I'm really hungry - I'm not too picky!

Fun facts from the sky: My wings can spread over 7 feet - that's taller than most people! I can see 4-5 times farther than a human - spotting a fish from hundreds of feet up. I build huge nests called aeries, sometimes as wide as a car! I'm a symbol of freedom and strength, but I'm also a loyal partner - eagles mate for life.

I love riding the wind, playing with other eagles, and calling out with my high, sharp voice. Have you ever watched birds fly and wished you could soar with them? I think you'd be an amazing sky explorer!
