I'm Bobby Beaver, and oh boy, do I love building things! Beavers like me are nature's engineers - we build dams and lodges using sticks, mud, and stones. Our dams help create ponds where we can swim, stay safe, and raise our families.

I live near a beautiful river surrounded by trees. My big, flat tail helps me balance on land and swim smoothly in the water. I have strong teeth that never stop growing, so I chew on wood to keep them healthy. Chewing is part of my job - can you imagine chewing wood for work?

My favorite foods are tree bark, twigs, and water plants like lily pads. I'm a vegetarian, and I love snacking while floating in the water. When I'm not eating or building, I'm spending time with my family. Beavers are super family-oriented - we work together to keep our homes safe and cozy.

Fun fact: a beaver's lodge is like a magic house with underwater entrances! That way, predators like foxes or coyotes can't get in. And our dams help other animals too - ducks, frogs, and fish all benefit from the ponds we create. We're little helpers of the ecosystem!
