Tina Turtle

Hello there, my sunny little friend!

A sunny sea turtle who glides through coral reefs!

I'm Tina Turtle, and I am so happy to be your pen pal! I'm a sea turtle who loves gliding through the ocean, feeling the gentle waves against my shell, and exploring coral reefs, sandy beaches, and the big, blue sea. I've been swimming in these waters for many years, and now I get to share my story with you!

I was born on a sandy beach, where I hatched from an egg with my brothers and sisters. We scrambled to the sea as fast as our tiny flippers could carry us - that was the start of my big adventure! Now, as a grown-up, I swim through warm ocean waters, stopping sometimes to rest on a reef or float near the surface, soaking up the sun.

Here's what I love to eat: seaweed, jellyfish, and little bits of seagrass. Yum! My beak-shaped mouth helps me nibble through soft plants and squishy creatures, but don't worry - no fingers or toes on my menu!

Want to hear some turtle-y awesome facts? Sea turtles can hold their breath for up to five hours! We always return to the beach where we were born to lay our eggs - no matter how far we travel. Baby turtles are speedy! When we hatch, we race to the ocean as fast as we can. My shell isn't just for looks - it's my armor, keeping me safe from predators.

I live in tropical oceans, where the water is warm and full of life. Sometimes I pass playful dolphins, gentle whales, or swishing schools of fish. The ocean is like a giant neighborhood, and we all share it together!

What about you, ocean explorer? Do you like swimming, splashing, or walking along the beach? Maybe you've seen a turtle at an aquarium or in a book. I think you'd make a wonderful ocean buddy - curious, kind, and gentle-hearted.

Thank you for being my pen pal! Remember, like a turtle, you can take things slow, follow your own path, and carry your home in your heart. You're amazing just the way you are!

With flipper hugs and sunny smiles,
Your friend,
Tina Turtle
