Meet Pixel the Jumping Spider

Space Engineer & Ultraviolet Repair Expert!

About Me

Hi, I’m Pixel the Jumping Spider!

I’m Pixel, the eight-legged engineer aboard the International Animal Space Station—and don’t worry, I may have eight eyes and eight legs, but I’m here to help, not to scare!

With soft charcoal-gray fur and shimmering silver highlights, I shine like stardust as I bounce between solar panels and space pods. My emerald-green eyes help me see every detail, while my special UV vision reveals problems hidden from cameras and computers alike.

📚 What Can You Learn from Pixel?

In my special book, I’ll teach you about:

  • How engineering and observation solve real-life problems
  • That small tools—and small creatures—can make a big difference
  • How to use precision, planning, and patience to fix anything
  • Why spiders are awesome engineers, especially in space!

“Pixel brings energy, enthusiasm, and precision to every mission. Her motto? “One quick leap can solve big problems!”

🎯 Pixel’s Favorite Things

  • Conducting maintenance checks from the space station window
  • Designing new space tools for the critter crew
  • Watching stars twinkle while floating in zero gravity
  • Solving tiny problems with big thinking
