I’m Bobby the Beaver—but around here, they used to call me “Bobby Busybody” because I was always working! Gnawing trees, dragging branches, packing mud… I just couldn’t stop building!
At first, the other animals didn’t understand why I worked so hard. But when a hot summer dried up our stream and everyone needed water—I knew just what to do! I got to work building a bigger, better dam—not just for me, but for the whole forest.
And guess what? It worked! Water came back, the fish were happy, the frogs could swim again, and the trees and flowers perked up. That’s when everyone stopped calling me “Busybody” and started calling me “Bobby the Builder.”
In my story, I’ll show you how:
“Bobby, a wise builder always plans for the storm.” – that’s what my dad taught me!
