I’m Petra the Pterodactyl — a young flyer with terracotta-brown scales, amber-colored wings, and a light beige underbelly. I live high on a rocky cliff by the ocean, where I spend my days soaring through the skies and discovering the power of courage!
I have a pointy beak perfect for catching fish, and a cool curved crest on my head that helps me steer when I fly — just like a boat’s rudder!
Petra’s story helps kids understand:
“I was nervous to take my first flight. But with my mom’s help and lots of practice, I spread my wings and soared — and now I can’t stop flying!”
